Steven Philippsohn was quoted extensively in the Guardian on the subject of fraud.


PCB Litigation has been retained by a Central Bank to advise on the "takedown" of various websites. The websites in question are for banks which were granted licenses to operate in the licensing country to provide offshore banking services. In the light of the changing economic climate concerning money laundering and regulation those licenses have been revoked, but the banks in question are continuing to advertise their licensed offshore status. The banks, ISP's and servers are located in several jurisdictions posing questions as to the availability of relief and where it should be sought.


PCB Litigation is advising overseas organisations in relation to their enforcement of claims and awards against a foreign financial institution who were found to have made an unlawful profit of £8 million in respect of transactions conducted by the financial institution on behalf of PCB Litigation's clients.


PCB Litigation has been retained to advise on claims being made by overseas corporations against UK legal advisors in respect of various corporate transactions.


Samantha Thomas has been appointed a member of the committee of the Young Fraud Lawyers' Association for the year 2003/2004.


At the Central Law Training 'IT Security and Privacy' Conference in London, Steven Philippsohn spoke on 'Cybercrime and How to Solve It'. Topics included 'Key Internet frauds', 'Are the current solutions working?' and 'What else can be done?'


Steven Philippsohn gave a paper on 'Litigation Support and Privacy Laws' to the Association of British Investigators at their AGM in Sheffield.


Steven Philippsohn spoke at the recent Institute of Professional Investigators Conference on 'Investigators and Solicitors Working together to Recover Losses'


A Global organisation has asked PCB Litigation to advise on the evidence that is necessary and that steps that can be taken to terminate a distributorship agreement and claim damages.


A US company have retained PCB Litigation in respect of claims against a UK Bank for non payment of monies owed by the bank.
