Susan is a senior lawyer, who has represented clients in complex financial disputes and in regulatory investigations, including by the Financial Conduct Authority, the Competition and Market Authority, the Charities Commission, the Takeover Panel and professional bodies. With over 20 years’ experience in private practice, the Serious Fraud Office and the Financial Reporting Council, Susan’s expertise covers all aspects of financial litigation, ranging from multi-jurisdictional civil litigation, fraud claims and asset tracing to breaches of fiduciary duties and professional negligence actions.
Susan’s clients have included Sovereign States, banks, charities, corporates, directors and high net worth individuals. She regularly lectures and writes for major legal publications on current topics across the civil and criminal fraud arena, and has advised both the UK and Irish Law Commissions on such matters.
Susan has acted in a number of cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal, including the cases of: Orb v Ruhan  EWHC 850 (Comm), a £67m freezing order case; Pyrrho Investments Ltd v MWB Property Ltd & Others  EWHC 256 Ch, which established the use of predictive coding in e-disclosure; and R v Pomfrett  1 WLR 2567.
