Having graduated from Cambridge University with a First Class Degree in History, Jon successfully converted to law at Nottingham Law School. He has wide-ranging experience in high value, complex and multijurisdictional disputes resolved by litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution.

Track Record

Before joining PCB Litigation, Jon spent ten years at a global law firm and on secondment as acting Group General Counsel for a leading African tower company.

Jon has acted on a variety of contentious issues involving fraud, asset recovery, contractual, tortious and restitutionary claims, insolvency, product liability, shareholder disputes, food safety, and real estate. Clients have included large international corporates, major banking institutions, funds, trustees, insolvency practitioners, and high net worth individuals.

Jon has obtained a number of extremely successful results for his clients including a series of ground-breaking orders.

Jon has advised on disputes concerning numerous jurisdictions including in relation to the US, the CIS, the Caribbean, the Middle East, the Far East, South America, France, Switzerland and Luxembourg.


Jon’s work was highly commended in the Financial Times 2012 Special Report, Innovative Lawyers.

Wider Activities

Jon is a member of the Commercial Fraud Lawyers Association and the London Solicitors Litigation Association. He has written various articles, including on obtaining the first reasoned judgment granting a search order against a third party.
