Steven is a civil litigator with particular expertise in complex commercial disputes, regulatory investigations and inquiries.
Prior to joining PCB, Steven was the junior barrister to the former Solicitor-General of New Zealand. He was admitted to the bar in New Zealand in 2012 and has since appeared as sole counsel in the District Court and High Court of New Zealand. Steven has dealt with a broad range of commercial matters including complex securities investigations and litigation, government inquiries, contractual disputes, regulatory enforcement and insolvency matters.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Otago. While studying, Steven spent a semester abroad at Charles University, Prague. Post-graduation, he has also passed Levels I and II of the Chartered Financial Analyst qualification.
